What's up? New here and wondering about fitment issues with Tokicos on my 2009 S. The body roll and suspension are horrible compared to my 2004 SRT 4 that had Tokico Illuminas and aftermarket sway bars. So I was thinking about getting the Eibach springs, but since they are made for a lighter vehicle I don't want to worry about the struts. My question is does anyone know if they are any major differences between the stock struts on a 2007 and a 2009 Corolla? I will tear into my wife's 2006 to compare if I have to, but just wondering if anyone else has already found out?
If I were you, I'd be patient and wait for Tokico to make a set. Paired with Eibachs (available now for the Corolla), they should be fine, like you had on your SRT-4 (you traded down?). Anyway, I'd steer clear of Megan Racing, cheap crappy Chinese made parts.
will help with your roll problems o_O im kinda curius what you doing getting body roll
normal driving conditions this shouldnt matter XD

i got the eibach pro kit on my ride, it made it better for handling cause its a lil stiffer but it does need some stiffer shocks, so it will ride better. I am waiting for the bilstein hd or koni yellows.
i have searched in google about lowering springs (like the ones from eibach) and coilovers. what i do not like in eibach products for the 09 corolla is that the drop is so minimal compared to coilovers. just 1.2 inches of drop for the xrs and 1.4 inches of drop for the LE, CE and S. coilovers can drop more than 2-3 inches although coilovers cost much much more than lowering springs.

Well my commute is half mountain driving and all 2 lane highway. So I'm driving like I still have my SRT. Fast....Although that's kind of a misnomer considering what I am driving now is not even remotely quick. Since I got the car for the MPG I figure if I can get somewhat even acceptable handling then I will be ok for a while.
blacken you are so right on what you said. looks like its going to be like a trial and error for now on some ride performance modifications that is available out there.
I'll just take measurements of my wife's 2006 to see if they'll fit. I'm not going to just buy the springs and blow out my struts, because I'm sure it will cause problems.
