Could someone speculate as to what would be on this 'plus' version different than the ones we have, whenever it arrives?
Plus package is always on the base model be it the DX, or the CE. It's basically the most popular package (usually Pkg "B") at a cheaper price or with a few more features included in the package. Sometimes, it's simply just a PLUS sticker lol but that was on the 2002 model. The last generation got an "SE" instead of a Plus and a 20th Anniversary Edition.

Yes but that's because the CE is the best selling model. It's just how Honda has a Civic SE based on the DX or the Accord SE based on the LX, the Camry CE Plus.

I find it hard believe Toyota would start changing body style within 2 years of a release, as Toyota has been one of the smartest car companies in the world for marketing sales and reliability. It takes a great deal of money for a factory to retool for a new model and something this soon would not be their style if history has any bearing.
Didn't the 2009 corollas start arriving in February of 2008? If there was something very different from the current model to be in this newest year I would be pretty surprised. Perhaps that is the newest thing, to release the next years model before everyone else.

It will not be a NEW body style, though it may have differant interior, wheel, or even option options. Toyota always believes in "continual improvemant", it is one of thier main philosophies.

I bought my 2009 in march of 2008. Yes I do think that it is silly to be making the next model year in Feburary.
yea the 09s came out in february from what my salesman told me, i bought mines in march...the 2010 year will probably just be a minor tweak here and there nothing big enough to lure us 09 owners to jump on it
but the corolla CE in canada doesnt have all the good featured items compared to S, LE and XRS. they are just the basic model that runs on 4 wheels.
Well the US is split between the "standard" and the "LE" model. We just cover it under one trim level with 2 package options. You can't compare it to the S or the XRS. Their LE is our Pkg "C". The only thing missing is TRAC/VSC which is available on all US models (and have been since 2005).

2010 corollas will just be a repeat shape with minor changes. this is the year that you can say "i own the newest model of the toyota corolla". so dont put your hopes that high yet on the following years to come. 2012 is a possibility for a new corolla shape.
I find it silly to bring the 2010's out in February of 2009, and for a second year in a row.
If I buy one, I'd be happy to have a 2010 so early, but this should only happen when a brand new model comes out, like once every 5 years.
So, is this a fact that the 2010's will be out in early 2009?
