Is a Corolla a old ladies car?

The last 2 generations were old ladies cars, is the old lady stigma still attached?

toyota's been trying to attract more younger buyers w/ the 09's...so far the S and XRS has done a great job attracting more younger buyers than the older years.

If the driver is an old lady, then yes, yes it is.

IMHO...LE+XLE = Older generation of people
S+XRS = Younger generation of people
Standard = Cheap generation who just want a way form A to B.

You either live by a lot of "older" people, and/or you have an attractive sense towards older females.

i'm going to go with YES... I may not be an old lady but I sure as hell drive like one in the morning on my way to work. But on my way home from work its another story.... (drag my ass all the way there... but haul ass outta there)

on that note though... where i live (suburbs of Toronto), I have only seen older women & men driving corollas.... like 45+. So maybe it is an old folks car.

OH OH OH... and the "S" models seems to be a nice "mid-life c****s" car for some old men who are looking for a sporty little number. (Rather than the Miata that is) I have run out of fingers to count the old men driving "S" models.

Canada

If these are older peoples type of car, then I have arrived 30-40 years ahead of the game.

The Corolla is NOT an old lady car. Old people drive huge cars like Mercurys, Lincolns and Buicks. The Corolla is a practical, fuel efficient, reliable car.....I think that is the impression that it has. I would say that the type of people who buy practical, reliable vehicals are probably mostly older, but not old lady old.

I think that it hasn't had the attraction for younger people, because younger people don't think that practically. I'm 25, I drive one.....all the people my age I work with drive more expensive cars. People my age who get smaller cars go for the Civic, not the Corolla.

If you want a more stereotypical 'older' car, its the Avalon.
