Angry Whats the deal...

Whats the deal, haven't 2009 Corollas been out for a while now?
Where can I find Cold Air Intake for 2009 Corolla S 1.8L!?!!

All the name brand sites are only updated to 2008 Corollas. I contacted Fujita Online to see if their 2008 CAI would fit a 2009, they replied no.
I might just give up and waste my money on exhaust...

www.weapon-r.com has had an intake for the 2009 1.8L corolla for like 2 months now.

Or you could just make your own. Get rid of the stupid white resonator and run the existing plumbing to the front of the grill. Makes a big difference and it's free.

were you able to take out that plastic white box thingy under the battery or something? if so how did you do it? did you take it out from above or did you have to lift the car to take it out from below? any pictures?

Sorry no pictures. It was pretty easy. I took it out from below. You just have to remove part of the inner fenderwell and the other plastic shield underneath. If you look the the far right edge of the lower part of the front grill you can see that there are no slits. I cut slits in the front grill to match the rest of it and put the intake pipe that connects to the white resonator right in front of the slits. It is technically a CAI while still using the factory airbox.

Are there any openings/holes in the white box other than the one on top where the black intake tube attaches? Can you post pics? Thanks.

There are two super tiny, maybe 1 inch holes on the bottom of it. Trust me. Take it out completely. Car sounds amazing now. Much better throttle response.

Any ideas on what this would do to a warranty? Its not something small the dealer wouldn't possibly miss... its a big white box... If there is no warranty voids, then i'm going to do it..

I want to free up the intake too. Its kinda stupid that they have it facing the right driver side fender. How the hell does it get air.
