Trust issues...

My dealership is holding a new toyota owner party tonight.. This party as quoted by the invitation they sent me would let the owners know more about the dealer staff and the like, will hold 15% discount on accessories and will do a free car wash tonight...

Parking the car tonight will be valet..and as soon as they take your car they are going to wash it.. so, should i let them wash my car? I never had anyone wash the car except me.. i don't want to have a free car wash with bonus scratches or swirls in return if they are planning to add that..should i entrust them in washing my car?

Next, do you think its a good idea to open to them up about the TSB issue? so that I would know if they are aware of this and doing anything about it and letting other corolla and matrix owners know about this? thanks!! i may need lot of replies before tonight!!

when you come in to your dealership just tell the valet boys not to wash your car. just park it somewhere safe. about the TSB it is a must that you speak to the service manager and let him know that you are aware of the TSB on oil consumption.

I work at a dealership so if you don't want a wash, just write on a piece of paper "NO WASH PLEASE" and put it on the dash.

My dealership shoots the car through the touchless carwash after they service it. They washed it after I got a TSB done on the Cam.

Well I'm sure as hell it isn't Star Toyota. Their service department is awful. Sales are friendly. But service was too stupid to find a screw in my tire.

I feel you.. i was in touch with one agent in there when i was in my shopping period..and he was really honest! then my shopping period was cut short by this dealer where i bought my car.. service in my current dealer needs some improvement in following directions..they didn't understand my request for the tint job that i had..oh well..
