Heat Issue

It's starting to get a little cold around my area. Last night, I had my heat on on the 1 setting. I turned my stereo down and I noticed a buzzing sound when the heater is on. I was wandering if anyone else has this problem.

I'm not sure sure if they will make a big difference, but I am driving the XRS.

Does it make the buzzing sound when you have the setting on 1 but on cold as well? Does it disappear at higher speeds?

It's just a light buzzing sound. There is no difference when I accelerate or not. Just a consistent buzz.

I'm not sure about the A/C. I just got back from a friend's house. I'll try it in the morning and report back.

Could be the fan. At low fan speeds there isn't any wind noise so all you hear is the fan. Try it at various temperatures with the fan level set at low.

If you can duplicate the sound at will, take it in.

I've experienced something like that with the A/C on my LE. A very light buzzing noise that makes me think the windows are open. However I live in Texas so heat is hardly ever on. Maybe the same thing maybe not.

Alright. So when I turn the A/C on to, I can still hear the buzzing sound. I think I'll take it in sometime this week.

Maybe a fan slightly out of adjustment?
