Didn't turn out too bad. Getting the gloss right was a challenge, but I don't think flat black would look right on "black sand pearl." Car looks like a f**king ninja now. Whether you like black or not, getting the other badges off makes a world of difference, imo.

yes, the car is dirty.

Yeah if I was driving past you I would have no idea what car it was till I looked a little harder. And I own a black corolla! It really is a ninja.

about the reflectors, i was thinking about doing some lighting back there as soon as a few more things come out - don't want to go over the top with black. about black-on-other colors, I think I agree with leanburn - black on front with the 09 would go with any color, but the rear might be better color-matched. red would be a nice challenge! get plenty of paint thinner!

Looks good. I just wish Toyota would have made the grill without the little emblem. It would look much better if the grill was straight across at the top.

The tail lights in a car is always a dead giveaway. The Corolla / Camry have very distinctive tails which help identify type/generation :P

I really dig Mazda's lighting. I'd pay one million dollars to have mazda3 heads and tails that fit on my corolla. you hear that out in ebay land?
