Canada Two little nooks on the side of shifter console??

What are those 2 little nooks on the side of the shifter console for? I put tooth picks in one of them, as I am on the run alot and eat in my car at lunch time during the week days. The little hook is useful for holding a plastic bag to put your garbage in.

The hook on the passenger side is for your grocery bags.

I like the garbage bag idea better. Who only buys 1 bag of groceries anyway? A couple of 4L's of milk and good left turn and that sucker will snap right off.

The manual says they are for bags. So your stuff does not slide around.
