Trailer Hitch?

Anyone have a hitch mounted on their GenTen? Got pics? Where did you get it/how much? Thanks.

I've ordered a couple of hitches from etrailer.com........ good people and if I decide to install one on the 'rolla, I figure I'll get it from them.

I had the Toyota OEM ("Hidden Hitch") from my 05 Corolla XRS (Gen 9) and it fit perfectly on my Gen 10 XRS and was easy to self install in about 5 min. This hitch was the angular one's - not the square tubular type.

Only problem, however, is that the clearance between the rubber muffler hanger and the hitch wasn't sufficient and if there was any significant sway sideways, it'd bang into the muffler hanger.

So FYI. It looks like only square tubular one's will fit gen 10.

not anymore. But if you look at this pic, you'll see something very similar...ie: what you're NOT looking for.
http://www.carparts.com/wcsstore/car...4347G_SW_1.jpg

Notice the upward sloaping beam...that's why it smacks into the muffler. But using the square version (http://www.accessconnect.com/images/Class2.gif) will work.

Just put the Curt 11266 (round tube) hitch on my 2010 Corolla S. It is mostly hidden under the car. The tube opening is well forward of the rear bumper and mostly out of sight. It comes with ball mount that has an up swing which extends far enough out and up that it clears the rear bumper and raises the ball height to decent level for a small trailer. I also tried my 2 bike rack in the hitch. I was worried that it would hit the bumper with hitch being so far under the the rear of the car. Well the folks at Curt must have done their homework because it clears fine. I would recommend this hitch. I purchased at thehitchstore.com for around $158 to my door.
I will try to add pictures but I only have dial-up :-(

OK, here are the picts of the Curt round tube hitch on a 10 rolla. You can go to the link scathma added in the reply below if you want to see the UHAUL square tube hitch.
Note that you can't see the hitch in some of my pictures and that is the point of the pictures. Unless you are down on your knees you would not know it has a hitch.
I like the round tube design because the ends are angled up to the mounting plate. The square tube Curt hitch is straight and seems to have less muffler clearance.

I put a uhaul hitch on my 2010. It requires a longer drawbar for the ball to clear the bumper, but the hitch is very well tucked under when the drawbar is removed. Too bad you're not local, my hitch and harness are on Craigslist. I paid $110 (ebay) to my door for the hitch, and I think around $30 for the plug in harness. (I wasn't interested in splicing/tapping wires on my new car)

+1 i bought the uhaul hitch paid 114 CAN$ (was quoted US price which was 30 dollars cheaper). guaranteed for life as long as you leave the uhaul sticker on it and toyota wanted almost 300 for the hitch. i did get the OEM plug-and-play trailer wiring kit, but it's not cheap ($100)

I got the T-Harness on e-bay for $20 + shipping ($6). This is new in the box. The real deal.
This one is actually made for the 09 & 10 Corolla. I put it on my 2010.
It has the extra wire to the battery so you can have extra lights on your trailer unlike the one offered by Curt that is limited on how many lights your trailer can have or you could start a fire if you have too many.

Get this one in the link.
