Question about 09 Corolla Stereo Upgrade/Bluetooth

Hello all, I got my corolla S back in June and it's a great car for me, but because of a shortage in my area back then, I got the stock system so I could get my corolla sooner. I was wondering if anyone has upgraded their stereo while still maintaining the steering wheel audio controls. Also, while looking through the manual, it looks like there is no real difference between the stock stereo w/ bluetooth and w/o. Can anyone confirm/deny this? I looked at the display on my stereo at an angle and can see the area for the BT logo and antenna signal strength. This makes me think it might just be missing an antenna or there's a switch somewhere to enable bluetooth. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I can not speak for the S trim as I have the XLE, but I believe the audio options to be identical. My car came with the "upgraded" system. It features a JBL system, with a more powerful amplifier, 8 speakers (instead of 6 in standard configuration), XM enabled ( 3 month trial subscription included) and bluetooth capable. There is a significant improvement in sound with the upgraded system. I have heard both.
