I just bought my car last Nov. 1, here in California and I just want to know how can I tell from which country my car was made. Is there anyway to find it out? Is it true that the ones that made from Japan are much better than here in the U.S. or any other country.

I had a 1992 Honda Civic ( with double wishbone supension ) It was made in Japan. Statisticly the cars made today are better than cars made back the. I can tell you that 1992 Civic was the best car I have ever owned. Not one problem in 12 years. It handles like a sports car. It was a new round style that came out at that time when the Chrysler K cars were on their way out. When this car was new it drew crowds in parking lots. May last civic was not as good out of the box, the 2009 Corolla I own now has minor problems like the power windo buttons sticking and small rattles.
