Sirius Kit and Lexus cable...

I have been looking into this for quite some time and I have a question...

I want to get the TOYSC1 and the SCC1 kit for my 09 Corolla. I have read on this form here that you can use the lexus cable adapter for the shark fin antenna to integrate the Sirius kit with the existing XM antenna on the 09 Corollas. Here is the cable I am referring to...

I an a little unclear about this because a lot of the people discussing this seem to be using aftermarket radios or using the portable sirius receivers. I am sticking with the stock Corolla radio and want the mentioned sirius parts - but I don't want to have an extra hockey puck on the car if I don't have to.

yes, that adapter will allow you to use the stock XM antena and plug it into the SCC1 tuner. The TOYSC1 will allow the tuner to work with the OEM radio.


Or you could skip the 60 connector and just solder the connection if you want. The connector for the sat. antena is the trunk behind the liner. Either route will give you the same stock-looking results.
