I got 42 months at 0% on my 09 XRS

I made a post saved by 0 or am I? and the dealership called me yesterday i drove the car home on October 8th and still haven't gotten any paper work well in order to lower the payments they extended the loan to 42 months. I considered saying no deal and trying to get them to take the car back but I really am enjoying my XRS Corolla. My dad is pissed that i didn't haggle more they only took $754 dollars of the Sticker price payed (22,000) So i guess I'm happy i wonder what would have happened if i demanded that we went with the original loan agreement I put down 0 money so the payments were crazy high 700 a month the new term bring it to 600 a little bit lower.

Dude, you got a deal!

They do not have 0% financing in Canada, but if they did I would have taken all the cash I paid on the car and put it into a GIC and paid the car off in 42 months at 0% I would be making money every month!

You did get ripped off, they just bought the rate down because you overpaid. Next time bring your dad with you. But for now enjoy your car.

I doubt that living in Chicago makes you pay more; it's just how you buy the car: next time, I'd recommend doing it online (know what you want before you set foot in the dealer)...you sound like a FTB (first time buyer), so just learn from your mistakes and enjoy your car.
