Corolla.... in dark blue

They still make the Matrix in the dark blue so why don't they make the Corolla (on the same line, with 1 paint shop) in the same colour? Drives me nuts. (although it's simply a cost thing, fewer colours = lower costs)

Maybe they will in a few years. Its always good to switch up the colour options now and again.

my 9th gen corolla was dark blue. i loved that color. i do see many 9th gens of that color, so it was fairly popular. if the 10th gen came in dark blue, i would have accepted no other color. i went w/ magnetic grey, as i was sick of my black yaris looking perpetually dingy.

I would have loved this my XLE, as the current blue doesnt really work except on the S.


Toyota seems to add and remove colors with each year of a generation. Hopefully the drop Capri Sea Metalic for something a little more...pleasing.

Indeed. It's annoying that the Matrix gets the wondering Nautical Blue (from the RAV4) and the Corolla doesn't. And yeah, Toyota does strange things with colour options. In Canada, Blue Ribbon Metallic is no longer available on the Camry Hybrid but is still available on regular Camrys (not that there are very many. I see more blue hybrids than regular Camrys). Also, the beige interior was offered with black for only one year (2008). No idea why.
