Rattle

My car rattles in the back when going over bump or surfaces. Does anyone have this similar issue. Will the dealer be able to do anything about it.

From previous threads here are some possible culprits:
1. License plate
2. The window has some sort of tab that creates a rattle. (seen this twice)
3. A body in the trunk.

A dealer can do something if:

a. you can make the noise occur repeatedly
b. Its not deamed as wear n' tear from your own mods/repairs
b. the body was there when you bought the car

There's also a thread before where the noise came from the trunk release cable. Have to remove the driver's side panel in the trunk to get to it.

I have this rattle too,it's even a metallic sound like a metallic bar clicking,I have inspected the rear side and it seems to me that it's the emptiness between the different materials just behind the rear left seat in the trunk,so perhaps 2 plastic screws in the trunk's carpet at that location (to reduce the emptiness) would decrease the sound
Also I don't know if you have the problem of hyper vibrating rear windows when a song has some bass, even with the ridiculous factory speakers

I know your feeling I have expanded foam and dynamat extreme my trunks and all over the trunk lid. I am still getting like I wanna say 2-3 rattles in some bass notes and when I drive over a bump i get one certain ding I will find it soon and fix the problem and will let you know what it might be. I am down to little rattles left in the trunk area but good luck on finding the rattle.

It has been about -25C here the past week or so. I noticed a major squeek/rattle comming from the back whenever I go over rougher sections. My wife and I are heading home for the holidays and I was packing the trunk. I noticed when I dropped a piece of luggage on the trunk floor, I heard that same squeek...so it is the trunk floor piece shifting that is causing the squeek when it is cold enough outside.
