Tweeter Replacement

I have searched and have not found what I am looking for. How hard is it to replace the factory tweeter? I plan on buying Alpine SPS-600C speakers for the front. And SPS-609 for the rear. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The head unit front speaker output is first feed to the factory tweeters then down to the mid-bass speakers. The connections are made within the factory tweeters. The mid-bass will not function if the tweeter connectors are disconnected. You would have to bridge the each pair of wires at the tweeter connector to get your speaker input to the Alpine supplied cross-over (there's a lot of room on the door to mount it). You will then have to run your own speaker wires to the mid-bass and tweeter.

Looking at the Alpine specs, there isn't an actual crossover with this set. It is an inline crossover. I think you wire to the mids, then the tweets. I was wondering more about fitment of the new tweets.

I don't think is hard to do, but I am trying to determine what the rear clearance is for mounting behind the factory grill/tweeter location.

Does anyone know how deep the factory tweeter is and how much additional room there might be?
