you should not feel any vibration at all because it is a new car. i am unsure about this but there must be some problem with the brake pad lining or something. have it checked at once.

Are you sure its not ABS? What are the road conditions when it happens? Does it happen every time?

+1

ABS... Probably Black Ice or something you couldn't see...

Edit Add on: You're in Scarberia so you have the same crap I got this morning. The Salt Trucks melted the snow/Ice with salt, but the deep free quickly froze that water immediately creating Ice Rinks all over the GTA... nothing wrong with your car. -22'C = Black Ice

Dry road condition and happens most of the time. Even on highway during traffic jams when I brake at that low speed

If it is not the ABS, then it may be a brake pad that is jammed and not floating. With all the road salt due to the cold weather, this seems to be likely.

brake pad bedding in

you might want to try bedding in the pads again. after alot of stop and go where your foot remains on the brakes and the pad stays in extended contact with the rotor in the same position buildups can occur.
lots of people mistake this for warped rotors. modern rotors in a street driven car are almost impossible to warp.
i suggest you find a deserted stretch of highway and apply brakes just to the point before activating the abs system till the car comes to like 20 mph. do this a number of times without giving the brakes a chance to cool until you can smell them. dont worry if you see smoke. after doing this about 6 times or so drive without touching the brakes for a good 5 minutes or so. ill bet this helps. let us know how you make out
tom

ps should be noted that you need to do this within the boundaries of the laws that apply in your state

My 2009 Corolla is 2 months old and just this week I noticed the car shaking when I apply the brakes. What is going on?
