Shell Touchless Wash

Just wondering, my car has side visors and is it possible to use the Touch less wash?? Would it blow it off??

Don't know about the side visors but I've been told by automotive paint experts that high pressure water can actually embed dirt into today's soft automotive finishes, causing paint finish damage over time.

Since the other responses don't answer the question....

I've seen people go in and out of the Petro Canada GlideWash Touchless with the Side Visors. So they should be fine. Provided they are the ones the dealer installed and not a Cheap Pair from Wal-Mart.

The post wasn't about how to wash a car... it was about will a car wash blow the visors off... If someone wanted to know "the best" way to wash a car they would post a thread about that...

Read the post and answer it if you know the answer...

Everyone knows that Hand Washing a Car with the proper technique and supplies is the best way to keep the paint...

I know exactly what you mean. To the OP, no one can definitively answer your question. You did not indicate how your visors are attached. Weather Tech visors fit into the window channels and would probably be just fine. Those that are glued on...who can really say. Too many variables.

The OP might not know that hand washing is best but he now knows that high pressure washes can be damageing to automotive paint finishes. If he never went through a high pressure wash he wouldn't have to worry/wonder about the side visors coming off.......would he.
