New owner here..

Howdy all..

This is my first Toyota ever so we will see how it goes..

I purchased a new Corolla S about a month ago.. So far I like it but I have discovered some things that I'm not real impressed with..

1) Does anyone else find it annoying that when you are driving you can see the clock on the dash but if you want to see the outside temp that you have to push the button.. But, worst of all you have to push the button 6 more times to get back to the clock! The clock and temp are the 2 things I want to see all the time when I am driving a car.. That was one of the features I insited the car have when I bought it but I didn't realize it was such a pain in the ass to use..

2) The armrest is hard plastic.. Why on earth would Toyota make an armrest out of hard plastic.. I don't always notice it but every time I drive it I will adjust my elbow on the rest and it will bother me and cause discomfort in my elbow..

3) The rims are kinda crappy.. Anyone know of a good aftermarket set that would look good?

Other than that I like the car..

I'm 30 years old so I now notice this stuff as I wouldn't have at a younger age I don't believe..

So am I. I love Mustangs. Almost bought an '05 GT (thanks to the slick talking used car salesman) but went for something more practical since I have a young son. But one days she will be mines.
