This morning the temperature was - 28C or - 20F outside. When you start your car in this kind of weather the car is never comfortable, it stays cold cor about 15 minutes before you start to feel some heat from the heater. It takes about 25 to 35 minutes before tha car realy warms up. Most of the time the heat to the feet is not enough and the heat needed to defrost the windsheild is too much. I have solved this problem with a small fan that I bought at Canadian Tire. I clip the small fan to the rear passenger door and point the fan upwards. When the engine gets hot enough to supply heat to the passenger compartment I turn on the fan to circulate the heat evenly.
This greatly increases the comfort in the car. In the summer the fan can also be used to circulate the cool air from the air conditioner on extremely hot days.
