This is for Canada. I know Obama already had this option!!!!
ya the factory is making my car as we speak and unlike the 09s the 10s have the option for leather & heated seats....!!!! so of course i had to get it lol
but did anyone else hear anything else about the 10s vs the 09s???
like more hp???? hahahahaha
no theres no more power the leather was the only add on for 2010 ... BUT its not a factory leather it gets installed at the PORT and honestly the leather that i have seen come out of the port lately ... not very good quality AT ALL be better off going aftermarket.
I suspect that they will put a lot of standard features into the 2010 that were not included or avalible with the 2009. The reason for this may be that they have lowered prices substancialy on the Canadian Corolla that they have to differenciate the two model years with substancial differences to justify a huge price increase. Maybe the 2010 will get the Tiptronic style automatic transmission that is availible in so many other countries but not North America. Throw a few other features in and add a $1000 price increase. We will have to wait and see if this will be the case.
Nothing. Maybe a light refresh of the grille/wheels in '11. The car still historically has about 5 years left in its generation, I don't think we can expect much different in the second year.
Yeah I was offered the option for approximately $1600 to add the two tone - aftermarket leather and heated seats. I like the sports cloth seats, especially for winter mornings. I have to say though, the curves on the XRS seats stand out much more with the leather.
Even if they come out early, I won't buy my 2010 before late Spring/ early summer, cause the snow isn't melted before the end of April and the roads are full of fresh potholes up to the beggining of June !!!
Gee, I wish they would put the time in the radio display, so that the time and exterior temperature would both be visible simultaneously like the 9th generation.
If you want a 2009 or a 2010, start negociating now. Go to as many dealers as you can get to in your spare time. Negociate for the 2009, even if you want a 2010. That way you will get the best deal when the time comes. Test drive the cars ( they will not thing you are serious if you do not test drive the cars ) Get prices, give them your lowball counter offer. Negociate the body side moldings and the winter rims into the deal at the last minute. Even if you plan to buy later, you are setting yourself up for the best deal. BTW, which dealer did your mom buy her car at?

I wish they would add TC and VSC as an option on the CE. I'm really missing those options this winter and would definitely trade in my 09 for a 10 if they had those features. Love the car in every other way except for those snow options. I don't understand the unavailability of those options in Canada, yet the US gets them. Makes no sense to me at all.
Haven't heard anything yet. I've been so focused on the 2010 Prius lol.
They've offered dealer-installed leather for the Camry LE/LE V6 for a while and it gets two-stage heated seats vs. single stage for the factory XLE model. Weird. I saw an LE w/ dealer leather and it looked fairly close to factory.

I have to sell my 2006 Corolla before buying a 2010. I have 32,000 km, automatic, AC, cruise control, remote starter, tinted windows, and hood deflector, and hoping to get 10,000$
2010 Corolla production started this month. They have not announced any changes for Canada, and only very minor changes for the USA (VSC/TCS standard on all models for USA, LE gets some nicer interior touches from the S for the USA).
But that's all factory differences, ordering packages could change in the next month or two before they actually start getting delivered. Maybe factory leather will be available in Canada?
All I know is that if I can get a Canadian XRS with leather and JBL, I'll trade my 09 for it.
