Weapon R Dyno Results!!!!!!!!!!

just got the dyno done today....... now just letting ppl know it was on a dyno jet. i have the le model (auto) with the 15inch enkei rims(yes it does matter this dyno is done with the wheels on the car). this is not an advertisment!

sorry for horrible pic but the red was the base line and blue was with the intake. the motor has a perfect power curve liturally straight. HP and Torque came in earlier too.

[I][B]Base Dyno max hp=111.76 max Tq=107.46
Weapon R sri max hp= 116.53 max Tq= 112.32
Increase of 5hp and 5 lb/ft to the front wheels [B][I] which means about 16 % drive train loss which is very good.
crank hp goes from 132 hp to about 138 hp

this is done in houston at fastlane 69 F with 6% humidity( perfect conditions for hp is 65 F 0% humidiy @ sea level

the one you posted is much too small to even read properly.

Those are some pretty good gains for a SRI. How much was the dyno?

Not bad at all. I assume its a manual. What gear did you do the pulls in, 3rd or 4th?

its actually an automatic, and the guys at the shop wouldnt let me go near it i was stand out side the shop when they did it and damn the intake is quiet at low rpm and loud at high. thats really good that i only lost 16% from crank normally with auto you lose about 20%

Well then id assume it was 3rd on the auto. Those numbers aren't bad at all then for an automatic. I would expect more loss to the wheels. 5 whp is a gain of about 7hp id say. so from 130-137hp ain't bad at all.

not bad. the weapon r kit comes with a ram air kit iono if that will work since their isn't much room to play with so i might add a 90 degree bend down to the tranny area and make it into a semi cold air might give me some more horsies. i really like the fact that the power band is so constant Toyota engineers are perfect for that. i think this engine has a lot of capability with the right person tuning it

This makes me want to get the SRI but i really would love to have it made into a CAI. I think my gains would be higher since i have an exhaust and MT

i will post some pics of it next week , cai you might have to relocate the battery or jam it in the oem area. u have to remember when we talked last time that the maf sensor is really sensitive if u have it a milimiter off it will mess up the idle and run u rich (laggs the crap out of the car)

I also wonder a little about the low end. Especially since you said in the previous thread that you had bad throttle response at low rpm.
