Canada Wind noise...Again?

This wind noise is driving me nuts!!!!!!! I really hope someone has a fix. Driving home last night, it was extremely windy out. Sounded like a wind tunnel. It's coming in the drivers side window/door? I think. The dealer agrees about the wind noise, no problem there, and has replaced the door seal, which didn't change a thing. On really warm days, it's much less noticeable, cold nights, and especially cold windy nights it's pretty bad. My guess is the window seal, don't even know if it can be replaced. Passenger side is perfect. Anyone have this problem? Please chime in if you have a fix. Thanks.

Wind noise is a real PITA. Yes - cold weather will amplify the sound in any car. My guess is that "cold" air just doesn't move/deflect as quickly as warm air when you hit it at highways speeds. This also explains why you feel crosswinds of cold air more than warm air.

Does the noise persist at the same dB level regardless of direction you go on the highway? Or does it get louder when you're subjected to crosswinds?

Definitely louder when subjected to crosswinds at the drivers side. I really believe it's the window seal, but it doesn't look like an easy thing to replace. The door seal was a piece of cake.

Cold air is generally heavier and more dense than warm air and likes to stay close to the ground. Warm air is pushed up by the cold air, just like cold frontal systems coming in and pushing the warm air out and upwards.

Fear not though, spring is coming :-)
