Amazon sale on Infinity Reference 6022i

Don't know much about the top car speaker systems (Except many consider JL as the top), but I do know I heard these Infinity speakers at the store and for $50 dollars, I don't know how you could get better than this.

I am in negotiations right now for my corolla and I'm hoping to replace the front speakers with these.

Just posting this for anybody that could be interested

It is "amazons deal of the day"

These are better than the stock speakers right? (the stock speakers that havent been upgraded)

these speakers will sound the same as the stock speakers. there is no point on getting or replacing the stock speakers unless you replace the headunit. the unit you have in there now will supply the speakers with the same amount of wattage as the new speakers. so guess what. dont matter if you buy 500 dollar speakers they will still sound like shit because you need to replace the headunit(radio) for the speakers to get more power to sound right because the radio that comes in the corolla stock blows.

Changing out speakers, even without changing the head unit, can make a dramatic difference in the sound. Anyone who says differently knows very little about components and how they impact what the listener hears.

i will agree with you both.

the speakers can only reproduce the signals it receives. crappy signal, crappy sound. so having a good clean signal to the speakers would be optimal.

now changing out the speakers can make a difference in sound but, i honestly don't think that the infiniti speakers in question will make a significant difference compare to the factory speakers, especially since these speakers are infiniti's bottom of the barrel line.
