My view on the Corolla now- Ericgu22

Posted earlier on how bad the Corolla was because of people influencing me. They look at Corolla and Civic in different way because of image and reputation. Right now I don't care what other people and just drive my car normally.

Got this picture in the picture thread.( It looks good with the rim)

Just get S-techs and some nice wheels and your car will look the same

Dude...and you have a Corolla S with the body kit which I think looks very good and gives the car a much sportier appearance too! Very good indeed. Nice picture as well.

that is not the OP's car, it is Cizzyfunk's XRS. OP was showing it as an example of how a corolla can actually look cool in his eyes.

Post Pics of your 2009and up Corollas here!

and yes, there is nothing wrong with a fresh start. i dont recall ericgu22 was ever as blatantly rude as some of you are being to him. immature in his thoughts, maybe. we were all young at one point. we all had to transition to adult type behavior at some point, so some of you might as well start now.

Retaining your individuality.

You have a Corolla and your friends have Civics. You felt that the Corolla has an old lady image. It did a few years back, but I suspect with the change in style Toyota is trying to get some of the Civic crowd. You are one of the early 10th generation Corolla owners, I suspect that with time you will see the Corolla demographic change for younger buyers. Lets put it this way, you are on the cutting edge of young car buyer trends, wait a while and you will see that I am right. My last 3 cars were Honda Civics. I bought a Corolla because it was the best choice for me.

If you want a fast car, don't buy auto... standard transmission always make slow cars feel fast, which is probably why your Civic friends think they're fast.

I agree, a mild kit (not ricey), a decent drop and some nice wheels and ANY car can look good.

The last two Corolla generations were not as bad for looks, as long as you had the S or XRS with the OEM kit, the car looked decent after a drop and wheels... now if you had a CE or even an LE I can understand since they were more stripped down and geared towards older people who just need a car to get from a to b.

Stripped down for old people? I'm not old I just don't like lips or skirts or kits whatever you call.. I like driving over bumps and maybe even some dirt road if I find without thinking of some stupid plastic.. on the other hand if someone gave me for free..
