Canada Toyota and Civic dealers - age gap?

Nothing exciting here, and not specific to the Corolla but in going to a couple of Toyota and Honda dealers it seems there is a general difference in the salespeoeple. Most of them in the Honda dealerships are in their 20's and 30's wheras I saw more people in the post-40 age range. Capitalizing on their audience perhaps?

There is an age differnece fron Honda dealers to Toyota dealers. I find that the Honda sales people are in their 30s to 40s and the Toyota sales people are about 10 years older in their 40s and 50s. I suspect that it is because the Honda products are aimed to the younger crowd and the Toyota products are slightly more expensive and aimed at the middle age crowd

The guy I had as a salesman at Honda was MUCH older than the guy i bought my toyota off of. That was the second honda, and second toyota dealership. First honda was about the same age as the second toyota and the first toyota was either same as the second honda or perhaps a bit older. And looking at the rest of the sales people in both companies different dealers they were all 30+ for sure, more like retired and this was a keeping them busy kind of job.

i dont see how this applies to anything at all . the USA economy is dying and people of any age can work at any car dealer as long as it gets them money. when i got my corolla march 2008, i went to both honda and toyota dealerships. both had people of all ages.
