Windscreen size different in US and AUS?

Hi,

Sorry for such a silly question - I have a ZRE152R and I have even paid for a 1 hour subscription to the Toyota Service section to try and find out this information.

I am trying to find out what, if any, differences exist between the US windscreens and the AUS windscreens for the Corolla Levin ZR.

I am thinking this may be in the wrong forum because in the US the closest equivalent would be the Matrix - but it is known in Australia as the Corolla so I would post it here first...

The reason for this is because I want to get a custom fit windscreen sunshade for the car, and it is *much* cheaper to get one including shipping from the US (around AUD$80) compared to getting one done here at AUD$199 plus shipping.

Regards,
Des.

Levin - there's a name I haven't heard or read since I was watching Initial D episodes.

I can't answer your question except to point out that the car in question is also sold as Auris in other markets (I saw a number of them while on vacation in Ireland). I don't think they would share windscreens but I don't know. The naming of Corolla is largely a marketing thing trying to draw on the massive reputation that the Corolla name has so I think aside from the superficial naming similarities you're probably dealing with other different parts.
