Canada Corolla S 2009 - Price paid by dealership in Canada?

Hi,

A lot of guides/people suggest say that when buying a car you should know the price the dealership pays for the car ...

Does anyone know that price for the Corolla 09 Sport, in Canada?! Does it change from dealership to dealership? If so, how to find out he price at my dealership?!

Thanks!

2009 Corolla S Automatic... you can pick it up $22,850 OTR (including rebates & taxes). GTA

Don't waste your money on Globali crap (etch-o-sketching).

NO "admin fees" either.

Back when I was looking for a 09 during late summer last year I shelled out the bucks to get a memebership at carcostcanada.com where you can get the dealer pricing.

After I walked into the dealership I found out Toyota had set pricing and would not budge a cent on the price. All they will do is give you $200-$300 worth of extra's here and there, and possibly a $100 referal bonus.
I'm not sure if toyota is still not going to budge on the price but here is the info you require for a Corolla S Auto

that $500 mentioned is for the TFS graduate program. if you graduated school within XX amount of time, you will get $500 / with proof as well as a lowered interest rate.

Breaking Business News Mar. 3 09 Toyota Sales Plunge 38%! To Jack Up the Price would just sink sales even faster.

I think that's jsut an overall sales number, you've to look at Corolla sales number specifically. AFAIK Corollas/Civics are somehow immune to sale plunges.

Canada Toyota News

See Toyota News on this site.
Toyota asks Japan for Government Loan.
These are not typical Times, who ever would have guessed Toyota would be pushed to that.

What is AFAIK?

Yeah ... the 500 is gone and the '3 monhs no payments' too . Fortunately I can get the $500 for grads.

I will test drive it saturday. Civic as well most likely?! I'll let you know ...

Will probably get it from Heffner (Kichener). Just waiting for upcoming *knock on wood* job offer (and nice salary increase!) to go ahead.

Thanks for your replies!

Not trying to scream at you but DRIVE THE COROLLA FIRST!!!

Then you can get a feel for the differences. I drove the Corolla first and then drove the civic and i found the power to get on the highway in the civic was much more than what's needed to get up to 100km in the corolla.

If you're easily distracted you wont enjoy the digital speedmeter which was one of the other reasons I didn't get the civic. Only advantage, my boyfriend tells me, is that you can know your exact speed if your ever pulled over

And psss the seats in the corolla are MUCH more comfortable! .
And the last reason for my chosing the corolla over civic, it's about 2000-3000 cheaper to get the S than it is to get the DX-G civic which is base with air, auto windows locks.

It just makes more sense!
