My 09 Corolla S mods

Well so far i have the windows tinted to a 15% all around ($200), an air intake from Secret Weapon with the ram air kit ($250), blue interior light i got from ebay ($30), and Tein lowering springs made for the 03+ models...same suspension ($170 from ebay). Love the look i'll try to get pics up soon. Next are the rims and tires and debadge. I also took my car to Meineke and they cut off the muffler and ran a stright pipe to a 3" tip. Sounds AWSOME too.

Tien? You mean Tein I hope...just for everyone's sake, there are fake ones out there, especially on ebay.

Straight piping isn't legal, but whatever floats your boat. Are you really going for speed or just want the Honda sound

The springs i got are authentic by the way. And the exhaust is legal. I left the Catalytic Converter in place. All that was cut off was about 4" away from the muffler. Then the pipe was extended with the tip being about 12" and a 3" opening on a 45 degree angle. And it has a deep low sound. We just had a snow storm since i live in Delaware but when the snow clears off the streets i"ll get pics up.

Straight piping should only be called straight piping if you remove the Cat & the muffler... other wise its a shotty way to make your car loud.

the real "legal" straight pipe way is to have drop-out section where your Cat is & where you Muffler is, and when you have e-tests you pop the Cat & Muffler back in. But you'd need to have some good customization done to achieve this in order to avoid exhaust leaks...

But thats the sneaky way.

that's what i thought, it isn't "straight pipe" unless you remove the cat. I've seen many Hondas straight piped, but all they did was make more noise
