I went to the dealer to do an oil change at 5,000 miles. They also asked me that I would have to rotate my tires and adjust my breaks. Total price to do all that about $100 so I said no way just change my oil for $30. So they did, they kept telling me how important it is do do all of the following. Then at 10,000 miles I was back at the same place for yet another oil change. They told me the same thing, adjust the breaks and rotate my tires, I denied yet again. It just seamed very sketchy to me, to pay $100 every time. I asked the service rep if this was really necessary, he told me yes it should be done every 10,000 miles.

. Then I mentioned that my dash was making noise and would like someone to go and take a look. So after the whole thing, I went to my car and my mileage was exactly the same as it was when I brought it in. I went back and told them that they did not even check my dashboard, they told me that they did and found nothing there. Then I pointed out that the mileage was the same, he just left and someone else came back. I was furious, that they try and pull this crap on me. I know quite a bit about cars, I took apart and rebuilt a 4.6L who do they think I' am just because I drive a 09 corolla?
So any ways that was my story about the whole brake adjustment, I was reading through my warranty and on there it notes that tire alignment and any adjustments are covered by a 12 month 20,000 miles warranty which ever comes first. So does that alignment warranty they mentioned covers brake adjustment? It also mentioned that it covers tire balancing for the same amount of time. All those things they try and charge me for, and did not even get the job done, all I got at my 5,000 mile and 10,000 mile maintenance is the oil and oil filter. They failed to adjust my breaks, they did not rotate my tires, nor did they balance them. Instead they fad me a bunch of crap. Seriously I expected more from Toyota.
