hey want to give my corolla an oil change but i wanted to know what
kind of oil you guys use i was thinking about mobil 1 also i have about 4000
miles on her

Going with the proper viscosity oil, 5W20 or 0W20, is more important than which brand of oil......and welcome to the fun.

Any big name brand will do the job. I use Castrol GTX and Canadian Tire - Formula One Synthetic oil.

just had an oil change. the service manager was adamant that this is what 2009 corolls come with from the factory. it is Mobil Clean 7500 semi synthetic blend. i agree that oil changes every 5k and your car will probably last longer than you want to keep it, regardless if its conventional oil or synthetic.
