Today I was driving on the Taconic Pkwy here in NY when all of sudden my right front wheel house inner fender fell off. It covers the headlight wires and the window wash resevior. How much do they cost and can I get one from a auto parts should or should I go to the dealer.
Thanks
I have a 2009 corolla S

Thats the wierd part I didn't hit any potholes, I did however clip a cat the other day I swerved and it hit the bottom of the bumper, it ran away so I don't know if it was hurt. I don't think it was a big enought hit to loosen anything. I feel so bad I have two cats
Thanks everyone, I asked a local mechanic if he could fix it and he said yes, he called toyota and they had the part in stock he picked it up and is installing as I type, well I am at work and my friend brought the car in, and it only cost $145.00. .... $100.00 for the inner fender and $45.00 labor.
Jobs was done thanks, I really wanted to avoid the dealer because they always do things you don't need done. I went in to get my oil changed and they rotated the tires ( which I did not tell them to do) and they charged me $150.00 for labor.

It's common practice to rotate tires during an oil change, but in your particular instance, it looks like they were trying to get you. However, this should have been handled by your dealer. The lining does not just fall out.
