Anyone Installed the Blu Logic from Toyota yet?

I asked my dealer about it and they hadn't even heard about it before...even though it was on the Toyota website. The Parts department looked it up and quoted $229 or something, I have since found it at a Toyota place in MA for $178...just wanted to know if anyone has done it to a Gen X Corolla yet...?

I just heard about the Blue Logic this morning from a reply in my thread. I immediately looked it up on the net and a few people have asked questions about this on various Toyota forums. A person did install it on a FJ and was pleased with the results. I think I will be ordering this very soon as well.

Here is the link:

OK, I just ordered the Blu Logic, should have it in a couple of days. I bought it from an outfit in MA for $174....best price I found. I am taking one for the team and I will post the results on Friday when I install it.

I'm really curious about this too. Anyone know where the button to control it would install to? I thought when they were factory installed, they put it on the steering wheel.

that is what i thought so too. someone here at TN had the bluetooth installed on his 09 corolla and the toyota dealer just stick up the bluetooth device where it was convenient. nothing was done to put the bluetooth control on the right spoke of the steering wheel.

that is just plain uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one goes in the switch knock out just in front of the shifter, next to the AUX for the stereo. I suppose if you wanted to, you could put it in the switch knock outs on the left as well. It is a one button system, with volume control as well. Will see on Friday...

All Done and I love it! It took me a little over an hour, and I was being real careful taking the trim apart. The harness mates up perfectly, there was plenty of wire for the mic and the button, so you could really put them anywhere. The volume is great and the clarity is perfect. Even better Joey...the A2DP friggin ROCKS! No need for that Ipod wire if you can put tunes on your phone.

I cant figure out how to post photos here, but I mounted the mic upside down in the top of the instrument cluster bezel and I put the button in the knock out to the right of the Air bag status panel. LOVE IT.

Hey Super Blue, Sienna 1 (above) sent a link to the instructions. My Blu Link came with Camry instructions. I received his instructions about 10 minutes after I finished the install. Did it just about the same. I have a stick, so my right hand is free while driving...they give the option for putting the switch on the left but I assume that is for automatics and Lefties. Dunno.....

Anyway...take my word for it...you will love it! And,unlike the built in, factory Bluetooth from Toyota...when the phone rings, your ringtone plays through the stereo...and streaming music. I love being pleasantly surprised by purchases, it is rare. Usually I am disappointed...NOT TODAY! ENJOY!
