i went to my local shop. im getting full HID Kit (High/Low/Fog), 35% Window Tint All-Around, and Two 10" Clarion Subwoofers w/ Amp. I am getting the HIDs and Tint on Monday. I put a reserve on the 10" Subs until i get more money. So i should be able to get those in a week or two. I also have a Blacklight sitting at my house, im gonna ask them if they can install that in my trunk. After thats all done, soon to come will be some nice Black Rims and a Grill :]
just out of curiousity, is Clarion a good brand for subs? i was gonna get kenwood but its an extra $100. any help audio lovers?

The HID's in the high beams is just a waste of money...and same with the fogs...
For HID, I wouldn't do the high beam...for me...I never use it. Just do the fog and the low beam if I were you. use the extra money perhaps for an air intake or others
they said that the high beams were just like an extra $50, so i just went with it. the window tinting only cost me $200 too! so i am saving money either way, lol. the Two 10" Clarions Subs & Amp are $650. as of right now, i got $450. so i gotta wait a little bit.
if you're downtown Boston....what do you need HID high beams for...and for that matter Fogs...i really hope you get nailed by the cops and learn your lesson fast..
It's not safe for on coming traffic...very dangerous...and disrespectful to everyone else just to "look cool"

I've got all windows tinted for $115...
Now, I've ordered the Injen CAI (for XRS) on eBay, currently waiting for arrival
Next will be the TRD springs lowering and a subwoofer...
And everyone who is giving him crap for HID's....um. Let him do what he wants..and leave him alone. You don't need to give your opinion when it isn't asked!

Just do that by yourself. I did the CCFL trunk lighting mod and it was possibly the easiest thing I've ever done. The double sided tape that came with it has melted, so it doesn't stick very well anymore. I may have to zip-tie it, unless anyone knows of stronger adhesives (i.e. 3M)?
Anyway, try and do anything you can do yourself yourself. You'll save tons of money.
As for subs, either one is a great brand, but without specs, it's hard to elaborate.

Oh you're from beantown! Are you an XRS? I have only seen one XRS (silver) i Boston so far. I live in the Alston/Brighton area. What shop did you go to? Honestly, I would reconsider if I were you.
The HIDS are a waste of money without a retrofit, which does not seem hard with some thought and the right tools. the tint can be had for 150 with lifetime warranty. and you can definitely do better than clarion subs for $650 if youre patient enough to look around and do the install yourself. Good brands include Adire, Image dynamics (IDMAX12?), maybe the Alpine type-X's. There are alot more, but im no expert. Ive been more interested in components.

i got an "S", and i live in the south shore. i'm clueless about the install of the Subs/Amp, but i might go to another place for that cuz some ppl are telling me its too high. i really want either Kenwood, Pioneer, or Alpine. but i dont wanna spend over $500ish

Purchased 2 12" Alpine Type-R for less than $200 total... The amplifiers... Now that's another story, haha, amplifiers are always going to run you more money than the subs... I did like a months of research before buying anything, I was clueless too...
