In the process of getting an 09 S with some questions
Hello,
I am in the process of getting an 09 Corolla S but have a few questions. One is that is it roomy inside? I have a son and I want to be able to get him in and out of the back easily plus I like leg room (I am 6'). I had a 2000 Jetta but felt crammed in sometimes.
Also, I am getting a 2009 S Black Exterior Charcoal Interior, 5 speed manual for $13765 + tag, title, tax etc do you guys think this would make the total amount over $15,000?

That's a pretty good price for an S model, though I think it probably doesn't have any options at all except maybe power windows.
i've got 2 kids w/ carseats, and i've had them both in the back. not too bad, but i don't do it that often. i'm 6'2 and it's plenty roomy if you max out the seat and steering wheel. much more leg room than my last two cars, a saturn and a tacoma.
thanks for the positive comments. glad to hear about the room it has. I was told it has the power package, the weather package and cruise control so who knows. Thanks everyone!

That would be the most basic S available. If I was in your position, I would look for one with the JBL option, if nothing more. Great option that gives you sound and the Bluetooth.
I am not a big radio person and don't have any use for bluetooth. I might upgrade to a sirius satellite radio in the future. Thanks for the heads up on that feature though. I am sure it is interesting if you are into car audio.

I too am 6 foot and I have tons of leg room. My boyfriend is 6'4 and even he found driving the car to be comfortable. Seats are very comfortable in the S as well (assuming they are the same in the states). overall, very nice car. has a good sound, even with stock intake, comfortable, relaxing, ride and I don't see you have any issue with kids in the back. I've had 2 7 year old's in the back (step brother and a friend's brother) and they both said the backseat was much better than my previous car (which was two door). I also bought this car looking at the room in the back for the future in 5-10 years when I too, have a child and a car seat. It's a good choice. Fuel efficent and roomy at the same time and it has a good look and feel to it.

If you had a new born, or just babies in general that need car seats, it would be kind of a hasell because you said yourself that you were 6 feet tall and you would probably need to lean the seat back. its hard to lean the seat back if you have car seats behind you....thats just me. i have a problem with that.

you describe the 09 corolla in a very real and natural fashion which can make you a very good 10th gen corolla spokeswoman even without the orlando bloom endorsement. keep it up and keep babying your 09 corolla S.
Thanks to everyone who helped me out with my questions. I put $500 down yesterday because they have to get my car from another dealership in Jacksonville (apparently the 5 spd manual is rare) so all I am waiting on is some paperwork and my car to be shipped down to Tampa. Wonder how long it takes to go from 1 dealer to another. Oh well I can be patient even if I don't want to.
i used to live down there. got my sienna from stadium toyota on dale mabry
Awesome. I am getting mine from Courtesy Toyota of Brandon. There are a bunch of dealerships all over the Tampa area though. Only about 45 minutes from where I am in Sarasota now.
I have been posting on here for a few days but I got the call from the dealer saying my car would be in today! Then we can start going on paperwork. SO EXCITED!!!!
