Charging

Has anybody figured out if there is a way to get one of the outlets to stay on when the car is not running? I really miss being able to charge my cell phone in my car while I'm at work.

you don't have a wall plug at work? Risk the chance of people breaking in the car for the phone?

Being from Edmonton I can understand your question but... I live in North Dakota, they'll take a phone from one of the unlocked cars before bothering to break into mine :-)... plus I always tucked the phone away in my old car and you'd have to be looking for it (particularly if I can get the arm rest plug to work).

It's just not convenient to carry a wall charger around when I'm working out of the office (plus then I have to leave my phone sitting somewhere).

just hook up the outlet to a constant 12v like the battery. just don't forget to fuse it.
