Far fromnew to Toyotas but this one is different

My first "drive by wire" vehicle and I think it's going to take quite a while to get used to it. I seem to have a big problem holding a steady speed on roads where I really can't set the speed.

And a question on my A/C. I do not have the automatic A/C. but for some reason it will blow very cold for a few minutes and then start blowing air at pretty much outside temperature. Is there something I've missed, or do I have a problem?

Thanks for the link, I've bookmarked it. I think I'll give myself a little more time to try to get used to the drive by wire before I spend that $329.00, though. My main problem seems to be that I find myself driving 15-20 over the limit instead of normal my 5-10.

Probably because the car is new, quiet and so smooth. Quite frankly the only time I notice the drive by wire is when the ASC kicks in.

I've had no issues holding a steady speed no matter what that speed is. It's just like any other car that I've had, just driving it for a week and getting used to the subtle differences from one car to another. I don't think about it at all anymore, I just get in and go!
