I'm a fool... too funny

I posted not too long ago about wanting to get the mesh part of my custom grill painted black... also I've been burning many brain cycles comparing prices and quality of the work shops where offering (from 30 bucks to 400 bucks... what a rip off some of these places are). Anyway I went to remove the grill today to get it ready to take it and get painted. To my suprise the mesh part pops right out... doh! I remember that being the case when I bought it but didn't give it a second thought and forgot all about it. All I had to do all this time was pop out the mesh and BAM... the center is now black :P

Bro, The black looks GANGSTA! I have the same grills on my black LE and saw that they now sell them with the black mesh (check ebay). Yeah, I'm curious to know how much they paid for your paint job as well.

I've been looking into smoking my Head/tail lights as well, and alot of the prices are a ripoff (highest is $175 for headlights). I just checked a shop this morning in my hood and they said they would do each light for twenty bucks with spray on tint. Anybody has any experience with the spray on? Thanks.

Thanks fellas

I got them smoked for $120, didn't really shop around, just went with the best repped shop in my area, so not sure if I over or under paid. They are a film, not sprayed. I went with film in case I ever need to take them off, but the guy at the shop said that there is a remover for sprayed on smoked as well (he hadn't used it yet to know if it was any good). Hope that helps

i kinda like the stock look better, or the before with chrome mesh in, just something about that thick chrome outline around the black grill doesnt do it for me ...

do you have your wheels off set outwards ??? looks good!

you really should tint your windows, i think it would look awesome with the smoked headlights and dark rims

This is just my personal viewpoint but I think the look would have looked more well-rounded with a fully black-ed out grille (on both intakes). You have a black car with dark wheels and tinted headlights. The chrome stands out quite abit, looking a bit out of place. Maybe if you added some chrome mirror covers/handles or something to finish off the chrome look?
