Any one knows how the "Techron® Concentrate" work?
Any place in Toronto where some one can get it from?

Try using Redline SL-1 as well, it's also a good product.

Chevron sells Techron.

I agree Redline is just as good or better of a product.

I swear by SeaFoam, the stuff is amazing, I use it in my fuel, and suck it up through my brake booster line to clean out the internals

SeaFoam can be found at any Autostore, or Wal-mart

STP for me.

Most cleaners work. Everyone has their preference. Just use one and you can't go wrong really unless you buy it from a shaddy guy out of the trunk of a DeVille

Fuel injection cleaner.

I was told that regular use of fuel injection cleaner will keep the injectors and pistons clean. I just wait till there is a special at CDN Tire and stock up on a few bottle so that I will be good for a couple of years. You only have to use it in a full tank every 3 or 4 thousand kilometers. I have been doing this for years, never had an engine problem.

If you use the redline try to make sure it is when you are going to burn a tank of gas in a day or two.

Is there something that everyone here should be aware of?

Slight overkill in my mind... I normally do it when an oil change is done. unless you are driving 6000 or 8000km every month of course

One of the best things you can do to maintain fuel system cleanliness is to purchase good fuel (top tier qualifying) in a constantly busy station. This ensures you are getting the freshest gas possible from an accredited source. This keeps your fuel filter cleaner longer, as well as your injectors.

i know it is an overkill. this time i want to find out if STP or the other fuel cleaners i am constantly trying are really going to be beneficial. with this 09 corolla of ours, it is either Shell or Chevron gasoline or nothing. with our 96 accord we just use Petro Canada gasoline.
