Debadging

so i just bought a TRD badge but i dont know where to put it. i could stick it to the front grill mabey? idk it just said self adhesive and 100% weather proof. im wondering how good that would stick to the grill. id rather put it on the back where the S logo is. has anyone debadged there car? how do you do it?
Thanks

Kinda of hard to see...but mine has been on about a year now....you can get actual grille emblems with little pegs on the back...but mine is like yours...hasn't fallen off or even come loose.

I also have one on my rear end...

Mine is debadged as well...just get fishing line...leave your car in the sun or heat up the emblem with a hair dryer...then cut behind the emblem with the fishing line til it comes off. Get goo gone and soak it on and get the rest of the tape/glue off, then wash and wax the area.

NICE !!!

So clean looking...I am so glad I debadged mine within 2 days of ownership. I also like your reflector tint a lot. What did you use?

Goo gone and dental floss. There is a video on youtube that shows you this method. I used it and took less than 2 minutes.

nice n' clean! perfect example!

I hate when people just keep adding badges without removing the old onces!

I used a cloth wrapped around a flat blade screw driver and picked the corners the emblems (surprisingly) came off all in one piece, i didnt even have any excess sticky marks.

The way that I did it and which seems the least evasive is, take a bucket and put is a little dawn soap, fill the bucket then with extremely hot water, pour over the badge that you want off, do a slow pour until the buckit is around half empty the use a flat head or something to place behind the badge. Make sure you keep the tool you are using away from the paint. Slowly pry and as you do pour more hot water over it. Took me around ten to fifteen minutes to get mine off with zero residue left and no scratches. worked great.
