Question Adding Navi to 2009 Corolla

Can you buy the toyota navigation system for the Corolla S 2009 online? I think it would look sweet to have the navigation system all built in.

Thanks!

Possible, but it is something better done at the factory. Also, Toyota does not make many S models with the Navigation option. Best thing you can do now is go aftermarket.

do a search first on the problems with the toyota navigation system before you decide to buy. you just might regret it.

Im under the impression that the factory nav is pretty cheap (i.e. not a good system for audiophiles who are looking to go with subs and components, and has a lockout when driving). For the same cost of retrofitting why not consider pioneer's avic N1 or later models? Stay away from no name brands if you can.

No offense, but you couldn't get me to buy factory nav. you're too limited and stuck.

I refer my garmin Nuvi mounted off to the left with a nicely run hidden harness. Plus I can take it out and use it in other cars or when I travel, plus if it beaks i can replace it in 2 minutes for a couple hundred bucks.

Go with a pioneer Avic F series. They're like half the recommended price on eBay, scosche makes the dash kits, and it's very easy to bypass them so you can watch movies and use the GPS while driving.
