Was looking all over to try to find what I thought was perfect and came across these "closeouts" at Tirerack. These are 18 X8 (35mm offset) MSW Type 12 bright silver painted. Only $99 each. (In case anyone is interested in getting some for themselves).
I put 225/40-18 Eagle GT's on as well. It came to $1138 for everything installed including having the TPMS sensors moved to the new wheels. (Goodyear did this at no cost to me to re-mounted and balance the originals).
Speedometer only reads 1 MPH over actual at 80 MPH.... pretty damn good.
The ride is just as smooth, quiet and plush as the stock 16's, but the handling is way more precise.
Man am I happy with the results

very nice! huge upgrade of the stock S wheels, to me the stockers on the S look like cheap hubcaps

Wheels are 24 lbs each tires 26. Total 50. Not quite as high as you said. I measured my stockers at 43 lbs so that's an additional 7 lbs each.
I'll gladly take that little bit of extra unsprung weight for the increased handling characteristics!

BTW that works out to 16% increase in unsprung weight, not 26%. Also, The much more precise handling of the lower profile tire makes for a big difference as well. The unsprung weight does have an impact if cornering on extremely rough roads, but the lower profile and wider tire more than makes up for that. Also, it would be expected to gain a little weight when you add almost an inch more width.
With the new wheels and tires I can get on it pretty hard in the rain and the traction control doesn't come on nearly as much as it did with the stockers. I can also push way harder through the turns without kicking in the ASC, so that tells me I got a nice increase in handling.
Yeah, i could have spent a few hundred per wheel to get lighter ones, but I'm VERY happy with wheels at $99

Are you going to get springs to complete the look?
No spring change, I live in snow country. Down the road I'll be uprading the shocks and a heavier rear sway bar though. Besides, good plush springs are a plus for suspensions as long as good self adjusting shocks are used and body roll is controlled with the bars.
