i was just wondering what age groups are buying the new corolla?
I'm the "1" over 50 on the results so far. Problem is the poll won't give you any real results. Younger guys are computer savy and blog and go to forums where most guys my age don't even know what a frikin computer is. Also, younger guys have a tendancy to modify their cars whereas the older people never have or have long given up on it.
How many 60+ YO Whiteheads do you think are on this board yet a ton of them drive Corollas...... I guess I'm kind of a semi-whitehead myself, but I'll be the one blowing by you like you're standing still.
Old Fart story, My fist modified Corolla was a '76 with oversized wheels and low profile tires, Modified lighting, Addco swaybars, Bilstein shocks, modified steering, full custom exhaust, headers, modified carb and intake, removed polution controls, shaved head for higher compression. Did this shit before you young "tuner" guys were even born or knew what a Rice Burner was. I'm the guy that used to take the crap for "buying jap". Of course back in the day, if you wanted any performance out of a Toyota you HAD to do it yourself.
I think the poll better represents the ages of the guys on the board.
old man John

2002 Camry SE V6 "Snow White" - She ate the poison apple and is asleep until April.
1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited "Grimhilda" - Geared Up For Winter!!!
I 19, bought a 2009 Corolla S in March of this year. It is my first brand new car and my first non-Volkswagen.
I'm hoping to keep it through college. I don't plan to do any mods to it, other than the window tint and car starter that I already have.
I have 6200 miles on it now, and I'd have to say I'm really impressed it with it, especially the gas mileage (about 34.5).
body = 31 , mind = somewhere around 18 or 19... although if you ask my wife she pegs it around 2 or 3
