Remove and inspect your brake pads for uneven wear.

If you notice vibration of any sort, then your rotors could be warped and need resurfacing or replacement.

The XRS Brake pads from the MY2009 had some issues of Screeching from what i understand from other posts. I took mine to the dealer and they did some clean ups / refinishing on my pads and rotors.

Fixed the problem for me.

Yea, my car started doing this too I have 15k miles on it. I just had a oil change with a service package on it. They apparently checked the brakes but all i think they did was see how much was left on them. Had anybody who has the screeching sound looked at there pads/rotors yet?
