Need Help! Going To Check These Today

Please give me your opinion on whether these will work on my Corolla Sport.

I'll post his description.

"17 inch FRD WHEELS

with staggered tires
215-45-17 front
225-45-17 rears

5x100 bolt pattern"

Will these work? I'm only worried about the rear tires and will these be heavy? I believe he said they were pirelli tires but I cant be sure.

Please help!

Staggering tires on a FWD is a big IMO.

I would just get the same size all around.

What's the offset?

To add one more thing I forgot, what is the width of the wheels?

Same width all around?

Sure you can't rotate your tires, but what's so bad about running a staggered set up on a front wheel drive car? It's purely for looks. If OP wants to go that route, who are we to tell him otherwise?

I ran a staggered set up on my Golf and received alot of

You pretty much outlined everything that's bad about running a staggered tire setup in your post.

1. Can't Rotate tires - big downside meaning having to replace your tires more often.
2. Only for looks - I'm big on function when I upgrade my car. A staggered setup will provide undesirable handling characteristics on a FWD car.

It causes under steer i believe or over steer...one of them lol.

Yea we need to know the offset and width before you can let you know if they work.

I agree with PR though...big no no on a FWD

Under steer

Rear tires are grippy, so they stay connected, and front tires go "spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin." You end up not going anywhere.

Stick with 215's imo. 225 might be a bit big for the 1.8L. Oh, don't stagger.

Edit: just get some XRS wheels
