It usually takes 6 or more years for one of those two fine companies to make a repair manual for a car or truck. I believe it has something to do with keeping dealers the go-to for brand specific repairs and such. Or patents. Something like that.

Remember, it's all about the $ in the end for companies. Most of them anyway.

I think the 6 year estimate is a little on the high side but I haven't been able to find a manual either.

Just buy the factory service manual if you can't wait.

Haynes and Chilton manuals are usually based off of it.

What is that Techinfo site? it presents options to subscribe for 2 days, one month or one year, is the info only available online or can you download the factory manual in electronic format?

where else can you buy a hard copy? how much is-it?

Your local dealership. Cost varies.

But it might not even be available yet since the car is still so new.

the techinfo site is pretty much the manual they use at the dealership. it covers most of the toyotas.

as for downloading it, last time i checked there's no direct download button. you'd have to save each individual page and there are thousands of them. so good luck with that.

as for a hard copy, the dealership can get that for you. there are various manuals to buy. i can't remember which ones there are except for the fact that there is a seperate electrical manual, i think there's like 2-3 sets you buy for the 10th gen.

Yeah, except they don't make one for our cars.
