Just wondering, when you put those "massive" bass box in the trunk, how do you access the spare when needed? and will it roll/slide around?

I am just asking because I am thinking of adding a 1 box 2 woofer in the trunk

i was thinking about a similar question. why hasnt anyone used those low profile/shallow subwoofers that you can put on the two sides of the trunk? i have seen pictures of those in some car magazines. they positioned the shallow subwoofers on the left and right side of the trunk and there is still a lot of trunk space compared to using the "coffin like" subwoofer baffles.

Remove it if you need to get to the spare? hmmm....

You can always stick a couple of pieces of the hook side of self adhesive velcro to the bottom of the speaker cabinet and then it won't slide around at all.
