Talking 2010 'S' Checking In!!!!!

Just picked her up at the dealership yesterday! First car I have ever bought new. I keep looking out the window at work to check it out and smile. I traded in my trusty '01 Corolla LE.

Specs: 'S' Package, 5 speed manual, sunroof, mods and fun things to come!!

Love the car, it's like a grown up version of my '01...perfect. Didn't buy a Corolla to be a race car...bought it because they are rock solid dependable. I fell in love with the 2010 as soon as I sat down in it and started it up and the gauges did the race car spike thing that they do. Toyota really thinks about the little things that make a car fun to own.

mmase - I am actually a former Idahoan and I forgot to change my profile. I am now a member of the Western Washington mess that they try to pass off as a state

They HAVE to do that to calibrate the stepper motors on the gauges at start up. They're not doing it to make you happy..... sorry.

BTW, welcome to the board. You'll find lots of good info and helpful guys on here.

Stepper motors or not, it's still pretty neat when the gauges bump at startup. I know that it is just a little detail but that is the kind of thing that I like about Toyota. I am still finding little cubbyholes and stuff in the car too! I think that I am gonna do an intake when I get paid next month...

The center caps were missing on delivery...i got a set of new ones from the dealership. but I like the look without them. It makes it a little different, and the factory ones are kind of cheesy looking...I might modify the factorys and put them back on however...
