Canada Cheap Mods!

Hey! I know there are lots of threads talking about different mods people are doing or have done, but I thought it would be a nice idea to start a thread where everyone can post cheap or easy mods that they have done or can do to their corollas! We have all heard about the awesome bigger pricey mods that add a LOT to the car, but sometimes it's the small things you can do to the car that can help make a difference. I haven't changed a thing to my 09 Corolla S (grey) since I bought it, so I would love to hear some ideas for mods that I can perform to my car. Tint and new rims will be coming obviously, but I'm looking for the smaller things as well. Thanks!

This isn't a "bash everyones idea" thread. If you don't have a mod to post or something constructive to say then don't post. We don't need every other reply to be "that's pointless" or "that's stupid". If you don't like the mod, then don't do it. People can decide if they want to do a mod or not. This is a free country after all. *steps off the soap box*

Here are some cheap/free mods I've done to the car:

1) Debadge - Free
2)Paint calipers/engine bay stuff - $12
3) Tint fogs -$6
4) Remove air box tubing (the flex pipe before the filter + resonator box) - Free
5) Interior LED - Free-$20
6) Painted toyota emblems - $8
7) Remove mesh from airbox lid - free

Lets try to keep this thread alive...!

Debadging
Painted Emblems
Painting interior trim pieces (so easy because the car just snaps apart and back together)
Tinting the taillights
Interior and exterior LED swap
OEM bumper protector (only about $60 online and I love the look of it)
The DIY SRI mods
Neons under the dash (cheap and easy if you have experience with electrical stuff)
Speaker replacement (Not too hard if you know what you're doing. There are also some good guides on the forum)
The cold cathode trunk mod (cost me less than $20 total)
Disable DRLs
Unrestricted fog lights

I'm sure there's more, some I've possibly done, but I can't think of any atm.

Perhaps you should use the block feature if you don't like my posts. I try to offer help where I can, but people get defensive when it contradicts their own opinions.

Thanks for the posts people! Keep them coming if you have more. I isolated my fog lights today so they can be turned on and off anytime without lights being on or with high beams on, worked nice!

fog light mod

Curious about taking the intake tubing out, you like it?

I'm very picky about keeping the right tire pressure too, better ride and helps the gas mileage.

That sounds like a great idea..i think i will do that. And you weren't offering help, you were offering your rude opinion. I just want you to understand that your posts are as pointless to us as debadging a car is to you. thanks
