2009 Corolla whine when driving?

When ever I accelerate or even step off the gas and just let the car roll, I hear this sort of whine. It almost sounds like a bus, when they travel you can hear this whine coming from them. Has anyone else experience the same thing?

I don't get that particular symptom on my 09, but I do get a 'drag', a deceleration when I let off the gas at low speed. My 2000 Corolla used to immediately go into 'coast' mode as soon as I let up on the gas. Anybody have any ideas what this might be?

Just the tranny spooling its supercharger.

But seriously, it's just the transmission. Mine's done it since day one. If you're still worried about it, see your dealer.
